Found this to be very useful if you want a permanently time travelled VM
time.synchronize.continue = “FALSE”
time.synchronize.restore = “FALSE”
time.synchronize.resume.disk = “FALSE”
time.synchronize.shrink = “FALSE”
tools.syncTime = “FALSE”
Set all those in the .vmx file, and you should be good to stay, in the past.
